My First Second Life Video!

Ghouls and goblins don't scare me! I ventured off for a little Halloween fun and made my first second life video documenting my escapade.

We all know Second Life can be monotonous at time. That's why I always look forward to the holidays when sim owners start the decorating. One of my favorite times of the year is Halloween.

Scouring MarketPlace for the perfect Halloween Costume is always fun. For this video, I decided to just grab an outfit I already owned from my inventory and grabbed a limo to the scary sims.

I've always wanted to take a stab at creating a Second Life video but was a little intimidated. Once I toyed with the camera settings and found some easy editing software, I was on my way. Now I'm hooked! So, I hope you folks like watching SL videos as much as I like creating them.

Red's Haunted Mainland Tour

My hubby, Tig, suggested we visit Red's Haunted Mainland Tour located at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Pushkin/8/159/3952 . We were impressed by the amount of "scary" we came across. From cornfields to creepy kids and monsters to haunted houses, this sim was chock full of creepiness!

Be sure to check out the rollercoaster and other rides located on the sim. The trick is to sit in the contraption, come out of mouseview, type start in local chat and go back into mouseview. This will get the rides started. Tig and I spent a good hour exploring the sim. I definitely give it two thumbs up! Hope you enjoy the video I made.
