Perhaps a better question would be - what isn't Second Life?

Second Life is a virtual world that allows the user to create and live in whatever they wish their online reality to be.

Have you ever dreamed of being a princess? Or maybe you'd like to be a warrior. You can be anything you can conjure up in the wonderful world of SL.

I find it to be a great platform to showcase such talents as building and designing. The fun doesn't stop there! There are so many ways to entertain yourself as well. From live singing venues to dancing with your friends, the possibilities are limitless in our community.

Second Life residents aren't just neighbors, but we're friends and family across the globe. Some refer to it as a "game," but many of us truly feel it is more than that. Friendships are cherished in our world, and I personally look forward to logging in each day!
